This Passover can be a brand-new opportunity to share my faith with the man I love. I know he knows Jesus. I know he has heard about the Last Supper. But, this night WILL BE DIFFERENT than all other nights.
This Passover I will get to see the light in his eyes shine even brighter when he learns how incredibly faithful ADONAI is!
The God of Israel saw my affliction, my widowhood. The God of Israel walked with him when he was losing his former wife to cancer. The God of Israel carried us through darkness and delivered us both to new life - especially when we felt the most alone.
Right now, there are people reading this who are walking through the shadow of death and need to KNOW the truth that sets us free - Yeshua the Savior in our midst.
I can tell you that, during the Passover Seders of my late husband's terminal illness, Passover pulled me through. I remember every prayer we prayed together, every song we pounded the table to, and every food we enjoyed with special significance. I knew that celebrating then - in the face of our anguish - was a choice I was making to trust God that joy WOULD COME for me again one day. I could look around the table knowing these memories would stay with me always in the faces of our children.
Now, with the incredible blessing of having a new beginning with Richard to build my life on, I can enter this season with NEW EXPECTATIONS. What I will miss not having Rabbi Mark there, will be rewarded with watching Richard's face come alive at the revelation of God's tremendous grace. The story of Passover will resound with the shouts of victory in being saved in Messiah Yeshua's sacrifice. Communion as one family, made whole through His blood, will be more meaningful than ever. Our growing family will rejoice without sorrow again - knowing Rabbi Mark is alive in God's embrace.
Passover is leaving this present darkness and welcoming the Kingdom into our midst. Eating the bitter herbs with the sweet charoseth will remind us of the many times that our bitterness can always be relieved by the sweetest moments of God's loving kindness. When we allow these Feasts of ADONAI to help us pause, remember Him and reflect His love, we resound with His goodness and mercy.
May this Passover bring you the freedom your heart longs for. May this Passover heal the wounds of your past and help you believe God for a brighter future. May this Passover open your heart to the truth of Our Father's love for you and a sure decision to let Yeshua be the Lord of your life. The power of the resurrection is real, embrace it!

That is so touching and beautiful. This year we’re taking our small house church to a Passover Seder and none of us have ever attended one. I’m looking forward to watching how everyone will respond and how the Lord will reveal Himself to us. I am so happy for all He has done in your life.

Thank you for sharing your story about the loss of your first husband and gaining another husband by God’s grace. I lost my husband of 38 years to cancer August 2023 it was very hard for me and my two beautiful children God blessed me with but, by listening to you read the proverbs every day and sharing personal stories about how you have overcome, I said to myself if she can do it I sure can do this. In the precious name of Jesus/ Yeshua. I’m doing well and, so are my children I thank God for you and TLV.

Toda raba, Daniah! You remind us that God remembers us. Though one may not have a beloved here on earth, our Beloved
Yeshua sits with us at the table. He is our Strength and our Song, and He has become our Salvation.
Chag Pesach Sameach!
