Whether getting a cup of coffee from the same popular drive-thru in city after city or only staying at one brand of hotel, humans tend to come up with quirks that give us some sense of normalcy. Surprisingly, this can apply to our spiritual lives as well. We need the consistency of daily prayer, weekly Shabbat, regular fellowship with other believers, semi-annual holidays and more!
Growing up, one of the things that always made my life feel normal was going to the MJAA Messiah Conference in Grantham, PA. Every year I would see my friends, have a deep encounter with ADONAI, and learn something new about His word. The years that I couldn’t attend felt as if there was something missing. And if I’ve learned anything about myself, it’s that I hate missing out on things. Which is why I’m so excited about what God is doing through our TLV Journey Bible App!
