This is the most exciting time to be alive since the resurrection of our Messiah!

Why? Because the Jewish followers of Messiah Yeshua – Jesus – came together in THIS generation to create a historically accurate Jewish rendering of the Old and New Testaments together as one complete translation from the Masoretic Texts and the 27^th edition of the Novum Testamentum Graece.

Did you know that the Hebrew lens of the telling of Messiah’s words in the New Covenant are a direct reflection of ADONAI’s words to us in the Torah? Yeshua is the life blood of the Torah – pointing us all back to the Father’s heart!

The Book of Revelation, written at around the same time as John’s Gospel account, has an important clue to understanding the profound wisdom of God’s masterpiece.

In verse 11 of Revelation chapter 12, John writes,

“They overcame him (the evil one) by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony and they did not love their lives even in the face of death.”

I have been asked many times, “Why do we need another translation? Why did YOU do all this?” The short answer is: I wanted my children to love the Bible the way that I did and my Jewish children needed to SEE the Messiah’s name as YESHUA because they heard us talking about Him all the time in our home and at our house of worship. But, over the years, I came to understand what God’s agenda really was in creating the Tree of Life Version. The Jewish people are ‘entrusted with the sayings of God,’ according to Paul in Romans 3:2 TLV.

Why? Whenever the Jewish people forget about the God who took them by the hand and led them out of slavery in Egypt, they are scattered and lose touch with their Creator. The Bible is Israel’s Family Diary and our children’s children are counting on us.

HOWEVER – when the Jewish people return to the God of Israel and READ their Torah scrolls, the words of life that God has preserved on the skins of sacrificed animals for over 3400 years – they are regathered and return to their homeland. When the Promised Land became inhabited again by the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob – and freely allowed to celebrate their love and devotion to the God of Israel in the City of King David where God Himself laid down His humanity as our atonement and rose from the dead during the Passover season – we are truly a free people.

This awakening of the Jewish people – that WELCOMES ALL PEOPLE to know the freedom of following the God of Israel – is recorded with the discovering of God’s Words. LOOK for yourself!

The Ark of the Covenant came back by unmanned oxen to David!

The 8-year old King Josiah himself found the scrolls and had his whole kingdom celebrated Passover!

When the captives of Babylon returned to the Promised Land, King Cyrus sent Ezra the scribe to read the Covenant aloud again, and Nehemiah exhorted them to they celebrated Sukkoth (Feast of Tabernacles)!

But, after the final chapter of the second book of Chronicles – the last book of the Jewish Holy Scriptures – the 400 year gap before the birth of Messiah is mistakenly called ‘silent.’ Believe me, God was talking to us the whole time. Between the rededication of the 2nd Temple at Hannukah – and the birth of Yeshua under Roman occupation is only a mere 165 years! That precious 400 year gap when the Jewish Holy Scriptures were translated into the Greek Septuagint, which closely parallels the 400 years that the English Version of the King James Bible has been in print!

Think about this…

When Jesus came, the Torah was available in the popular language of their day – their generation. When the King James Bible came 400 years ago, the Greek translation was made available in the popular language of the ever expanding British empire. When Pilgrims landed in the Americas, they hungered for a world where they could practice and worship God without persecution.

Later, a translation was created, only this time done by mainstream Judaism. When the TANAKH was made by the Jewish Publication Society for America in 1917, their Pathways Through the Bible Book provided precious intel about how the American Constitution was founded on the Biblical Principles of the Torah and they DREW pictures of what they hoped would someday be their own home in the Promised Land. That book sold over 300,000 copies and gave birth to the hugely popular New JPS TANAKH. But, that was only the Old Testament. I am so comforted knowing that American Jewish soldiers had a pocket JPS Holy Scriptures in the fox holes of WWII. What a horrific loss of Jewish souls during the Holocaust – but wait! God’s remnant is His to save!

Did you know that in 1946 in Qumran, Bedouin teenager shepherds accidently discovered the dead sea scrolls and the next year Israel became a recognized nation on the world stage as they were excavated?!

Now, with the Dead Sea scrolls found, the Jewish people returning from around the globe and the Jewish followers of Messiah opening this salvation through Yeshua as the ONLY banner of love that can heal the entire world – God has brought us together to create the Tree of Life Version for all His people!

This pattern of returning to God, again and again, with and without human intervention, generation after generation is the master plan of the God of eternity. Salvation through faith lived out in love with our Creator is the only way for brothers and sisters to stop killing each other. Please help spread this good news of “Love God and Love one another” with the Tree of Life Bible. This gift from God is for all people. The words of life are found resounding through the ongoing testimonies of people – like myself – who were enslaved and suffering that find forgiveness by forgiving others and pursuing peace and good will for all mankind.
